Do I have to include the "Powered by Anaconda" Attribution at the bottom of the result pages?

No - we have no requirements that this be included when you install the script on your own site. The script does include this attribution by default, however, and we always prefer that our users continue to include it. For Amazon Search and Hot 100, it can only be changed by modifying the script. If you must change it, please be careful. For all our Foundation products, you can include this tag in your template file or .cfg file: <A!PARM.noattribution="1">

What are your policies on using the scripts on multiple websites?

Our script license is for a single web site. If you have multiple domains pointing to the exact same site, then a single license will suffice. But each unique web site needs its own license. If you have any questions about licensing and using the scripts for multiple sites or customers, please email info@anaconda.net.

What level of customization do the Anaconda scripts provide? How do I get them to look/feel like my own site? Can I include my own banners/links/tables/graphics, etc?

Our scripts provide you with a great deal of control over the look and feel of their results. For most of our scripts we use an HTML template system. You create one or HTML "template" files that look/feel like the rest of your website - they can carry your logo, your banner code, your color scheme, your toolbars, headers, footers, etc. Within this template you place special Anaconda "tags" which basically tell our scripts "PUT ANACONDA DATA HERE." You instruct the scripts to use a given template file and the script automatically builds its results pages using your template.

What about installation? Can I install the scripts myself or do I have to pay Anaconda Partners to do it for me?

We take great pride in how easy our scripts are to install and configure. The vast majority of our customers are able to get our scripts up and running within minutes of receiving them. If you have ever installed and configured any other CGI script before you should be able to install ours without any difficulty. Our scripts do include installation and configuration instructions.

If, however, you want us to install the scripts for you we will do so. You may order our script installation service from the standard order form on our website. The cost to install an initial script is $49.95 - each additional installation is $34.95.

I use XYZ as my web hosting company, will your scripts work there? What are your scripts requirements?

Our scripts are compatible with virtually every commercial hosting company out there. The scripts run under UNIX or NT and require access to Perl 5. If you have any other cgi script running on your site then our scripts SHOULD run on your system.

Can you add site XYZ to the metasearch? Can you do something similar for me for my affiliate program? Do you do custom work?
